Open the Symantec Antivirus
Client clicking twice over the icon
with
the left button in the mouse.
Once open give a click to “Live
Update”. Then click on
“Next”
Scan once every week.
Open the Symantec Antivirus
Client clicking twice over the icon

the left button in the mouse.
Once open, from the section on the right select “Scan
Computer”, from the right side select with a
“check mark”
over
the unit to scan “ most of the time
it’s unit C:”
Click on “Scan”
Spyware X-Terminator.
Download actualizations daily
Open the Spyware X-Terminator
clicking twice
over the icon
with
the left button in your mouse. Wait for the program to load.
Select the folder “Options”
then the sub folder “Updates”,
there click on “Update Now”
Scan Daily
Open the Spyware X-Terminator
clicking twice
over the icon
with
the left button in your mouse. Wait for the program to load.
On the upper right click on “Start”.
Wait until it finish and in case the program finds spies
click on “Select All” and after that click on “Remove”.
Error Nuker.
Run the program every time you install or uninstall a
program.
Open the Error Nuker clicking twice over the icon
with
the left button in your mouse.
Once open click on “Start Scan…” that is located on the
lower right section. Wait until the program finishes
scanning.
In case of any error click on “Fix ALL Errors…” located on
the lower right section.
Click on “yes” on the pop up window to repair. To finalize
click on “OK”

Defragment once a week
Open the
Executive Software Diskeeper
clicking twice over the icon
with
the left button in your mouse.
Once open select the unit you wish to defragment “ usually
is unit C:”
Defragment the unit clicking on the icon
“Defragment” that is located on the upper part of the
screen. screen. screen.
Now click on the folder “Drive Map” that is locate on the
lower part of the screen to see the graphic status of the
unit.

The blue bars are files and defragmented folders,
and shows that the files are in order |

The red bars are defragmented spaces, that causes
the system to be unstable. |

The yellow bars are paged files.

The green bars are system files. |
|
|
The white bars are free spaces for the hard drive.

The green/White bars are spaces reserved for the
system. |

|
The light blue bars are defragmented folders. |
NOTE: it can be analized clicking on the icon
“Analize”
that is located on the top.
Click on the folder called “Reliability” that is located on
the lower part of the screen to see the general status of
the disc.
